The Italian online magazine Linkiesta wrote about Tenuta Magrini and the story of Maura Satta Flores: a new winemaking adventure that started from an idea born during the lockdown, and an example of determination, practicality and resourcefulness.
From that adventure came our wines, from Giglio Rosa to Madonna dei Monti.

Passion: how we work the vineyard
Our vineyard is in Grazzano Badoglio, in the Monferrato hills of Piedmont. The choices behind our wines are the way we decided to work:
- No herbicides since 2021, with cover crops between the rows.
- Organic conversion with ICEA began in 2023; our wines are now ICEA certified (read our ICEA certification journey).
- Grapes always harvested by hand.
Technology: data that help us do less, better
Technology does not replace the experience of walking the rows every day. We use the XFarm platform to read weather, leaf wetness and soil data from the vineyard, so that organic treatments are timed precisely: not more often than necessary, not less often than prudent. The details are in our article on XFarm and digital agriculture.
