The Slow Wine 2027 guide lists Tenuta Magrini among the new entries of this edition: a winery that was not in the previous guide.
A guide that visits the vineyard
Slow Wine does not only taste. It visits the estate, looks at how the vineyard is kept, who works in it, what goes on the vines and what is left out. That method is very close to the way we think, and this is why the listing means a lot to us.
What the guide found in Monferrato
Our vineyard is in Grazzano Badoglio, in the Monferrato hills of Piedmont. The choices behind our wines were not made for a guide: they are how we decided to work.
- No herbicides since 2021, with cover crops between the rows.
- ICEA organic certification since 2023 (read our ICEA certification journey).
- Grapes always harvested by hand.
- Spontaneous fermentation with the yeasts of the grapes (see why we use indigenous yeasts).
When someone from outside comes to look at these choices closely, and finds them worth telling, it confirms that the path holds.
For importers and distributors
If you import or distribute organic and natural wine, an independent listing is one more reference when you present a new producer to your buyers. Our labels:
- Millecolli — Barbera d'Asti →
- Madonna dei Monti — Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG →
- Giglio Rosa — Still Rosé →
- Névola — Rosé Wine →
Thank you to those who believed in us from the start, and to everyone who tastes our wines with the patience they ask for.
Are you an importer or distributor?
