You are never really done for as long as you have a good story put aside, and someone to tell it to.

Our story began by chance, at a moment when everything stopped in a way nobody expected. A moment when each of us felt the need to question the choices and the paths we had taken. So in 2020 we came across Tenuta Magrini by chance. It did not have that name yet, but it was certainly waiting for us: abandoned in a sea of hills, lying in its wild beauty.

And so we, born in seaside cities and carrying the sea's constant movement with us, chose to try what we had never done before: to win back time and space, to save the twenty-year-old vines, and so to begin making wine. Those vines give us today Millecolli and Giglio Rosa.

And that is how this story begins.

Where the story takes place

The estate sits in an old farmhouse in Grazzano Badoglio, on the slope of a south-facing hill at 350 metres, sheltered by a wood. The vines are all around it in one unbroken block.

How we work them came after that first encounter: no herbicides since 2021; organic conversion with ICEA began in 2023, and our wines are now ICEA certified (read our ICEA certification journey). The grapes are always harvested by hand and the wines ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts only.
