Who handles your data
The data controller is Tenuta Magrini srl Soc. Agr., Strada Oliva 5, 14035 Grazzano Badoglio (AT), Italy. For anything concerning your data, write to wine [at] tenutamagrini.com.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer: we do not fall within the cases where the Regulation requires one.
The contact form
If you write to us from the Contact page, four things reach us: your full name, your email address, the category you picked from the drop-down, and the text of your message. Nothing else. None of these fields is pre-filled or inferred from anything.
Why we process them: to reply, and to do what you asked us to do — arrange a visit, prepare an order, answer a question.
On what basis: Article 6.1.b of the Regulation, that is, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. In plain terms: you wrote to us, and replying is the reason those fields exist.
For how long: we keep the correspondence for 24 months from the last exchange, then delete it. If the enquiry turns into a commercial relationship, the documents we are legally required to keep (invoices and the like) follow the tax retention period of ten years.
Providing the data is optional, but without a name, an email address and a message the form will not submit and we have no way of answering you.
The form for restaurants and wine shops
The trade page carries a second form, for those who buy to resell. Besides name and email it asks for the name of the business and the city: they tell us who is writing and let us prepare a sensible proposal before calling you back.
What happens on submit: you receive the trade sheet by email, and your details reach whoever handles sales, who gets back to you within two working days.
On what basis: Article 6.1.b again, steps taken at your request prior to a contract. You are the one asking for the document and the contact.
Where this data goes: unlike the general form, contacts arriving here are kept in a sales list held in HubSpot, so that we do not start from scratch at every exchange and know who we have already sent what to. We keep the four details you gave us and the history of what we said to each other: we track no browsing behaviour, assign no scores, and cross-reference your data with no other source.
For how long: 24 months from the last meaningful contact. Should a supply relationship begin, tax retention periods apply. You may ask to be removed from the list at any time by writing to wine [at] tenutamagrini.com: we delete you without asking why.
We do no mass marketing
We have no newsletter and there is no sign-up box anywhere. We buy no lists, we sell none, and the address you leave through the general form does not enter the sales list. Should we ever want to send periodic communications, we will ask you first, with separate and revocable consent.
Who else sees this data
The site is static and has no database of its own. The data passes through these parties, and only these:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the contents of the form and delivers them to us by email. We store the messages nowhere else: the service is a plain relay.
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any web server, it keeps technical connection logs, which include the IP address, in order to run the service and protect it from abuse.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's two typefaces, loaded from the servers fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. For the typeface to reach your browser, your IP address is necessarily disclosed to Google. No cookies are set.
- HubSpot is where trade enquiries land and where we keep track of commercial contacts. Only whoever handles those relationships within the company has access to it. The site does not load HubSpot tracking: on submitting the form the four details you typed are sent, and nothing else — no cookies, no browsing history.
Some of these providers run servers outside the European Union. Where that is the case, the transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or on an adequacy decision.
We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to anyone for their own purposes, and we use it neither for profiling nor for automated decision-making.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. None: not technical, not analytical, not for profiling. That is why you see no banner — there is nothing to accept. The detail is in the cookie policy.
Your rights
Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation give you the right to ask us for access to your data, and for its rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, as well as the right to object to the processing.
An email to wine [at] tenutamagrini.com is enough to exercise them: no form, no particular wording. We answer within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it), to the supervisory authority of the country where you live, or to a court.
Changes
If anything changes — if one day we switch on visitor statistics, for instance — we will update this page and the date at the top. The version published here is the one that applies.
