No cookies
The site is made of static pages. There is no members' area or basket, and no session to remember: nothing here would need a technical cookie. We have no advertising or profiling tools, and the visit counting we do use — explained below — works without cookies.
Nor do we use the equivalent technologies, local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting.
The two outbound connections
There are two things you ought to know about, though, because while they are not cookies they do involve contact with servers that are not ours.
The typefaces. The two families used on the site come from Google Fonts, that is, from the servers fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. For the typeface to reach your screen, your IP address is disclosed to Google. No cookies are set, but the connection happens.
The contact form. Only at the moment you press "Send" are the form's contents transmitted to FormSubmit, the service that delivers them to our mailbox. If you do not send the form, nothing leaves. How we handle that data is set out in the privacy policy.
How we count visits
Since September 2026 we measure how many people read these pages, using Vercel Web Analytics. What interests us is which pages get read and roughly where readers come from, not who you are.
The tool sets no cookies and writes nothing into your browser. It gives you no identifier that persists: to avoid counting the same visit twice within a day it uses a code computed on the spot, which changes daily and cannot link your visits across different days. So there is nothing to accept or refuse, and the banner still isn't needed.
Vercel is not a new recipient: it is the company that already hosts the site, so your IP address reaches its servers every time you open a page, statistics or no statistics. Switching them on added nobody. What is collected is the page address, the site you came from if any, the country, the device type and the browser: aggregate numbers, from which no individual can be identified.
If you would rather not be counted, any browser blocking extension stops this counting too. The site carries on working exactly as before.
Blocking them anyway
Even though it would serve no purpose here, every browser lets you manage and delete cookies from its own settings, usually under Privacy.
